The short version
Many websites place dozens of cookies. We currently place none. The only thing Original Build Check saves in your browser is a note that you confirmed you are 18 or over, kept in localStorage rather than as a cookie. As of Oct 13, 2026, that remains the full picture for our own pages.
What we store in your browser
Local storage is similar to a cookie, but it is not sent along with every request to the server. We use it for one thing: remembering your answer to the age question. If you clear it, you will simply be asked again on your next visit. Nothing else about you is kept there.
Cookies from the demo
We chose to load the demo on click rather than automatically, so that no data reaches Spribe unless you decide to play. If you do start it, Spribe's game may use cookies or local storage of its own. We neither set nor read those, and Spribe's own privacy information applies to them.
Browser controls
All major browsers let you see and delete stored data:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Delete browsing data or Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings or Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data
Exact menu names vary between versions and devices.

This policy describes the site as it is on Oct 13, 2026. Should we add any cookie or new storage item in the future, it will be listed here first, with its name, purpose and lifetime.
