Who this policy covers
We wrote this policy to be read, not skimmed past. It sets out what the site records, what it deliberately does not record, how long information is kept and what you can do about it. Because we do not sell anything or run user accounts, most of it is short. The date of the current version is Oct 13, 2026.
Data involved in a visit
The information falls into two groups. On our side, there are the host's server logs and any e-mails you have sent us. On your side, inside your own browser, there is one localStorage value named "age18_ok" that records your age confirmation.
The cookie policy explains that browser item in more detail.
Data we do not ask for
Reading the guide requires nothing from you beyond the age confirmation. We do not collect identity documents, financial information or a phone number, and we do not keep profiles of visitors. As things stand, no analytics or advertising cookies are set by Original Build Check. There is no newsletter to sign up for and no comment box asking for your name.
When you start the demo
We do not embed the demo automatically. It stays inactive until you choose to start it, and only then does your browser contact Spribe. What happens inside that frame, including any cookies, is up to Spribe. The same is true of any external site you reach through a link on Original Build Check: we cannot control how those sites handle your information.
Storage periods
Server logs are kept by our host only for as long as they are useful for security and fixing problems, then deleted in the normal course. E-mails are kept while needed to handle your message and for a reasonable time afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Neither is used for marketing or shared for that purpose.
Your options and changes to this policy
You can clear your browser's storage at any time, which removes the "age18_ok" item. You can avoid sharing anything with Spribe by not starting the demo. And you can ask us to delete your correspondence by writing to [email protected].
If we change this policy, the date at the top will change too.
